Ginger & Cilantro Marinated Grilled
Tuna
With Grilled Peach Salsa -
Serves 4
Ingredients
4 pieces
8oz. Fresh Tuna -2” thick if possible
(fresh only)
For the Marinade
4 Tbsp.
Cilantro,
chopped
2 Tbsp.
Ginger, minced
1 Tbsp.
Garlic, minced
2 Tbsp.
Lime Juice,
fresh
1 Tbsp.
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Mix all Ingredients, thoroughly
rub the steaks
with marinade.
Place in refrigerator for 15-20
minutes.
For the Salsa
4 each
Fresh Peaches,
split, grilled & small diced
4 Tbsp.
Red Onion,
minced
2 Tbsp.
Ginger, minced
2 Tbsp.
Chives,
chopped
1 Tbsp.
Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp.
Lime Juice,
fresh
1 Tbsp.
Cilantro,
chopped
½ cup
Red Pepper,
small diced
1 Tbsp.
Olive Oil
1 Tbsp.
Rice Wine Vinegar
Salt & Pepper
To grill the peaches-
preheat grill to 450 degrees, brush the peaches with olive
oil and sprinkle with a little sugar. Mark the peaches on
all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Cool, dice and place in a
bowl.
To grill the Tuna-
preheat grill to 450 degrees, brush
grill thoroughly with a towel soaked in a little oil. Place
Tuna on grill for 3
minutes
on each side, Tuna should be rare to
medium rare.
Serve with sushi rice and a grilled
vegetable skewer if you wish, ENJOY!
